Delivery / Pickup Information

Customers will be provided a delivery/pickup date when their furniture arrives.  Window times will be communicated the day prior.  If the customer cannot pick up or accept delivery of their furniture within two weeks of arrival, delivery to a storage facility of their choosing may be arranged; otherwise, additional fees will be incurred. 

Transportation of furniture is at the discretion and convenience of St. Jacobs Furnishings Co. The seller can designate a day but not a specific time. The seller cannot move, haul or rearrange old furniture.

Customers are responsible for ensuring furniture fits through all obstacles, including but not limited to door openings, hallways, stairways, etc., and inside or outside their house or vehicle.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery team has a clear path free of obstacles or hazards on their own property. This includes clearing of snow/ice and all other potential hazards. Our delivery team reserves the right to refuse delivery when hazardous conditions are encountered.  Our delivery staff are required to wear safety footwear at all times including when in your home.

Customers picking up their furniture are responsible for packaging their own furniture. We recommend that you bring moving blankets and/or adequate packaging material to protect your furniture during transportation, and customers should bring adequate help to load furniture into their vehicle.

 

Rates and Payment 

We ask that your remaining balance is paid prior to delivery. Rates for delivery will vary depending on the location. St Jacobs Furnishings values your privacy and does not store any credit card numbers.
